Life Weather

Life weather
Everyone is living in their own “life weather”. It’s harder to see than jackets and gloves or swimsuits and surf boards, so it’s harder to acknowledge or be gracious with it….but it’s there.
Everyone is living their own season of life. Whether the sin tsunami is roaring around you or the calm summer breeze is floating past, we don’t always know what others have experienced that day/morning/week/year and what “gear” they’re having to wear because of the “life weather conditions”.
I could’ve encountered someone whose spouse sent them a nasty gram this morning, or a person who spilled coffee all over their brand new interview suit. I could’ve driven past someone going to their child’s funeral or had my groceries bagged by someone who has a severe illness.
This world swirls and swirls with tangible seasons and scars from emotional weather that is much more difficult to perceive than rain landing on your skin.
Be kind to janitors and street sweepers, say hello to those who look like they have it all or top executives who seem to be too busy to look up.
It never hurts to love and be kind. Who knows, you may have just given someone sunshine on their cloudy day. 💜☀️
