✨ Devotional “Health in Your Bones”
Scripture: Proverbs 3:7–8 (NIV)

"Do not be wise in your own eyes; fear the Lord and shun evil. This will bring health to your body and nourishment to your bones."

Let’s talk about bone-deep peace.

There’s something sacred about the mornings when the house is still and you open your Bible, not because you have to, but because your soul craves it. You’re not chasing a checkmark—you’re chasing clarity. Connection. Comfort. And, as Proverbs says, something deeper: healing.

Proverbs 3 tells us that honoring God and turning away from distractions—even the ones we justify—brings literal health to our bodies and nourishment to our bones. That’s not a metaphor for “good vibes.” That’s a promise of holistic health. Spirit, mind, and body.

So many of us are walking around spiritually dehydrated, over-scheduled, undernourished, and wondering why we feel dry inside. But God’s Word? It’s living water. And when we drink it in, consistently and sincerely, it does more than inspire us. It restores us.

The quiet power of scripture isn’t just emotional—it’s physical.

Reading your Bible might not seem like it’s doing much in the moment. But over time, those small, faithful pauses—those moments of obedience—are strengthening your core, realigning your purpose, and yes, even giving your bones the kind of strength a green juice or a gym session can’t reach.

Today’s Reminder:
You don’t need to hustle to feel whole. You need to get still.
And sometimes, stillness looks like opening your Bible and letting the healing begin from the inside out.

Reflection Prompt:
What parts of your body feel heavy right now? What if that weight could be lifted not by doing more, but by spending time in the Word? Take a moment to journal or pray, inviting God into those weary places.
